Who cares about the worlds? The best players wont play at the worlds. Its the same every year. There are no tournements any more where the best plays against the best. No more NHL at the olympics, no WCH-tournements. Money is too important and the NHL too powerful. Its all about contracts. And to get a good contract, you cant get injured at the worlds. The NHL wont let their players play at the olympics, because they are afraid of injuries. This is wrong for the sport. Its the same in 2023. The best swedish, canadian and US players says no to the worlds. There's no point in having this tournement any more. Money rules, and the spirit of winning the worlds or the olympics is dead.
